Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Habakkuk 2:3
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
O-bservation:
This was a prophecy that, at the time, even confused the Prophet. But in speaking of the end, and the future calamities of those who do not follow Jesus, he was absolutely correct. All there is to do is … “Wait For It!”
A-pplication:
Now I’d like to do a 180 on you with this passage. What about you? What about your dreams, your visions, your desired outcomes? The truth is, the Bible tells us that God wants to give us the very desires of our heart if we put Him first (Ps. 37:4). In fact, why would God give you a vision if He didn’t want you to have it? In order to have it, you’ll have to put everything you have into achieving this dream. Long hours, long strategies, sacrifices, and willpower. However, if you’re willing to do the heavy lifting God will do the part you can’t do. Just “Wait For It!”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I’m not giving up on my dreams! You have them, I’m going to strive to reach them, and then “Wait For It!” Amen
