Psalm 105:8
“He remembers His covenant forever, the promise He made for a thousand generations.”
I just love this reminder from King David.
Here he says that our great God remembers His covenant forever, and to give us some idea of how long forever is, David says for a thousand generations. Wow, wow, wow. 33 years is about the shortest generation potential that is out there.
So, for 33,000 years at a minimum, God remembers His promises to His people.
Now, of course, David was speaking to the Jewish people, but because of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, we Christians are now co-heirs with the Jewish people for all of God’s promises.
All I can say is, you and I must never forget that our God remembers.
