TESTIFY

S. O. A. P.

Here’s your 90 second AM devotional!

S-cripture:

John 9:25

He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”

O-bservation:

This is the story of a man who had been born blind. Jesus picked up some dirt, spit on it, made some mud, and rubbed the mud on the man’s eyes. He then told him to go wash it off in the “Pool of Siloam.” When he did, his eyes were completely healed. The Pharisees were now very upset because Jesus had healed him on the Sabbath. They questioned the man over and over, and finally the man said, “Here’s what I know. I was blind but now I see!” The Pharisees were so mad they threw him out!

A-pplication:

What this man did was give these “Legalists” his “Personal Testimony.” A “TESTIMONY” stops even the most educated in their tracks. You can argue until you’re blue in the face about facts, dates, times, places, science, and verification. But when YOU say, “Let me tell you what Jesus did for ME,” it’s … GAME OVER! They don’t have to accept what YOU say, but they can’t argue about it any longer because You’re the one who experienced it. It’s always been my goal to stay away from arguments about Jesus and instead … “TESTIFY” about Jesus!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Once again today, I dedicate myself to being a good “TESTIMONY” of Your grace. Help me to stay away from arguments and instead talk about You. Amen
