Have You Ever Had A Bad Day?
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Jeremiah 38:6 So they took Jeremiah and put him into the cistern of Malkijah, the king’s son, which was in the courtyard of the guard. They lowered Jeremiah by ropes into the cistern; it had no water in it, only mud, and Jeremiah sank down into the mud.O-bservation:
The King of Judah at this time was Zedekiah, and one of his sons was Malkijah. The son, along with a number of the guards and the king’s associates, implored Jeremiah to stop prophesying that anyone who stayed in Judah would be killed by the Babylonians, and only those who went to Babylon as an exile would live. Jeremiah refused to change what God had given him to tell the people. So, King Zedekiah had Jeremiah, the man of God, thrown into a muddy cistern that had no water in it, but instead had liquid mud. Jeremiah began to sink in the mud.A-pplication:
Have You Ever Had A Bad Day? If you’re like me, I have no doubt that you’ve had a bad day here and there along the way. But, I want to remind you that God is just as much a part of your bad days as he is your good days. You’ve heard it said before that you must go through some kind of fire to get to the victory that is on the other side of the test. Then and only then can you truly elevate your life and future. Was Jeremiah able to get out of that cistern and get unstuck out of the mud? Of course, he was! The Lord sent one of the king’s associates to him and said, “What were you thinking putting the man of God in that cistern?” Immediately the King ordered Jeremiah to be pulled out to safety. In time the King had his eyes put out and all of his sons executed by Nebuchadnezzar, and he remained in Babylon till he died. The prophet Jeremiah? Well, he kept prophesying the word of the Lord. And yes, he was elevated, and hardly anyone talks about Zedekiah. EVER!P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, I’m asking this am that you would help me through my periodic fires in order for you to keep elevating me. I know there’s a test first and once passed there is a victory on the other side. Amen

MOSES
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Hosea 12:13 The Lord used a prophet to bring Israel up from Egypt, by a prophet he cared for him.O-bservation:
Here the prophet Hosea reminds the people of Israel how the Lord gave them the prophet "MOSES," who kept his people Israel and also led them like a Sheperd leads his sheep. Not only did he lead them out of the bondage of Egypt, but he also led them across the Red Sea and kept them in the desert while they wandered for forty years. He led them and kept them through sickness and disease and wars and droughts and pestilence through those years. So while the people of Israel had called the prophets of the Lord fools in Hosea's day, God argued that the greatest leader in Israel's history was the prophet, "MOSES!"A-pplication:
Sometimes what we are seeing from our vantage point is what we would see to be a fool. But what God sees in our so-called fool, is a great leader. Could it be that what we are seeing is so completely opposite from what God is seeing, because of our own sin? We see a fool, God sees "MOSES." Here was an old man who had failed God miserably and was now tending sheep for his father-in-law, for forty years! It was at the ripe old age of eighty that God called "MOSES," to lead his people Israel out of bondage, and he did. But now, many years had passed since God's great leader, "MOSES," had passed on to heaven, and Israel was in trouble again. They could not recognize the true prophet among them. Today we are in such a mess that it is time for us to get our eyes off of man's leaders and onto the "MOSES," that could be among us. God has a prophet, not an anti-Christ I believe, that will help lead us to one more revival before his coming.P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, As I've read this passage this AM I'm believing for a "MOSES" among us who will stand up and say, "This is the way walk in it!" Lord, we need new prophets like never before to Sheperd your people worldwide. Help us, I pray. Amen

They Call My Prophet, The Fool
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Hosea 9:7b Let Israel know this. Because your sins are so many and your hostility so great, the prophet is considered a fool, the inspired person a maniac.O-bservation:
Hosea was the prophet of God, who was God's living illustration of how much he wanted the children of Israel to return to her first love. To be honest, in chapter eleven of this same book, God walks away from his own anger and says, My heart has been changed towards you. My compassions have been aroused I can't destroy you. I will not carry out my fierce against you." But, right here, he is still angered and annoyed at the fact that the prophets he sends to Israel are treated with such contempt. He said, "They Call My Prophet, The Fool."A-pplication:
For just a moment, I'm going to ask you to try and put yourself in God's shoes. He sent his anointed prophets to Israel to warn Israel that if she didn't change, she would be destroyed. And instead of respecting God's voice-box of God's warning of coming peril heading their way, they treated these oracles of God as if they were FOOLS! Imagine that! God is the ALL-KNOWING SOVEREIGN OF THE UNIVERSE, and he had to deal with these "peanut-brained" people known as Israel. These dummies had the audacity to call God's oracles "FOOLS!" But what about us? What about our elitist nation? Aren't those in print and televised media finding fault and taking every opportunity to find ways to cancel the choicest of God's men and women? We appear to be just like Israel, calling the prophets of God, "FOOLS!" I suppose, in the end, God will find a way to accept our nations back when they repent. In the meantime, we must respect the words from the prophet's mouth.P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, I know the heat is being turned up in your church worldwide and especially here in the west, where we've had it so easy during my lifetime. Help us to endure and not crumble under the pressure of it all. My will is always to do your will, my Lord. Amen
