S-cripture:

Psalm 91:1

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

O-bservation:

King David gives the people of the Lord the recipe for emotional rest. If we choose to LIVE within the shelter of the Lord, we will REST in the covering of the Lord.

A-pplication:

You may be wondering, well what does that mean? Our Savior’s SHELTER has to do with His biblical directives. Dwelling in God’s biblical directives means we’re living in obedience to our Lord. Those who live in obedience to the Lord are COVERED in every aspect of life by Jesus. What is it that is causing you concern right now? First ask yourself, am I lined up with God’s Word? If not, go back, ask the Lord’s help in that matter, and get back on track. Always remember, God wants you to live an ABUNDANT LIFE in Him, on every level. The way that happens is when you’re, “Sheltered And Covered!”

Dear Jesus,

With Your help I will live within Your Shelter today. I’m so glad that when I do You have promised that I will REST in Your Covering! Amen
