S-cripture:

2 Thessalonians 1:2

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

O-bservation:

When Paul opened up his second letter to the church at Thessalonica, he did so by declaring “Grace And Peace” over them.

A-pplication:

Think about it this AM. In this time of turbulence around the world and constant concerns for one’s family, finances, and future, what better declaration could you and I hear? I’ll speak as though it was the Apostle Paul talking to you. “I know you have concerns, some of which perhaps keep you up at night. Here’s what I want to declare over your life today: “Grace And Peace from our Lord and Savior Jesus. His Grace is favor that we don’t deserve, and in time you won’t even believe. Also His Peace will cause you to walk calmly through your toughest challenge.” I’d say that’s a pretty good start to our day.

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for Your “Grace And Peace,” which You promise over me again today. Amen
