How We ROLL

S. O. A. P.

Here’s your 90 second AM devotional!

S-cripture:

1 Corinthians 16:13,14

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.

O-bservation:

St. Paul directed the church at Corinth concerning their “Modus Operandi.” He said that as “Followers of Jesus” they were to live in anticipation of any and everything the enemy would like to throw at them. He then said be constant in Faith, Courage, and Strength. Finally, “Love In Action” is the beginning of all Godly Character. So Paul instructed the church to do everything in love.

A-pplication:

After a while, people get to know all of us. How we operate says everything. There’s the old adage that goes like this … “You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can never fool all of the people all of the time.” Rust always breaks through a fresh coat of paint. It was directed by Jesus himself, through the “Great Apostle,” that after folks watch us for a while they will know that we are always On Guard against any potential attack from Satan himself. They will also know that we are constant and unwavering in Our Faith. Our Courage in the face of opposition will stand out. And Strength will be a sign to all that Jesus is our Lord! Finally, our Character will be something that all can count on because we operate always in Love. And that’s … “How We ROLL!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I want to be all that You have in mind for me to be today. I have my directive from You, so now I move forward this AM with purpose. Amen
