Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 85:6

Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?

O-bservation:

This plea from the Psalmist to our wonderful Lord is for Revival. His desperate cry is that if God would only revive His people, they themselves could know what real joy is.

A-pplication:

The thing that holds a marriage together many times is raw, loving emotion, where you just can’t seem to get enough of each other. There is so much strife and turmoil. If that’s not happening, real boredom is. But when loving emotion is there, it’s like the relationship is REVIVED to when it was brand NEW! That’s what is being asked by the Psalmist here. Lord, I want some emotion to this relationship. We, your people, are just going through the motions. Please instead touch our EMOTIONS! Revive Us! “Please Lord!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I need Revival. I need to feel You in my life like those days when I was a brand new “Follower Of Jesus.” I remember I couldn’t seem to read enough, or pray enough, or tell enough people about You! I always FELT it. Help me FEEL it again! “Please Lord.” Amen
