Just Keep Praising

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 113:2

Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore.

O-bservation:

The Psalmist was all about praising the Lord. In fact, immediately after this statement he says that from when the sun comes up until it goes down we should all,  “Just Keep Praising.”

A-pplication:

What would you do if in one day you lost your whole family, your entire business, your animals, your employees, and your wealth? Well … that’s what happened to the Old Testament man of means named Job. After it all happened Job said, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust HIM!” Now if a man can say that after all that, why can’t we just praise the Lord continuously? I must be honest, it’s not a continual out loud praise. It is a continual inward knowledge that says, “I know who’s floating my boat all day, every day!” Because our God’s ability to show up in the middle of our most difficult days and save the day is all the reason we need to, “Just Keep Praising!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Because of who YOU are, I’ve chosen again today to “Just Keep Praising!” Amen
