Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Revelation 7:12
Saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”
O-bservation:
John the Revelator had just seen the “Saints in Heaven,” who had come out of the great tribulation, say … “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to Jesus.” When they heard this, Heaven’s Angels fell down and began to worship the Lord. They said, “We agree with the Saints!” Then they said, “Praise and glory and wisdom and power and strength be to our God forever! We agree!
A-pplication:
Isaiah 14 tells us that Satan had been referred to as a “Star of the Morning.” In Revelation 12:3–10 Scripture says the Lord cast Satan and a third of the stars of heaven out of heaven. Most theologians believe that when Lucifer lost his place in heaven, a third of heaven’s Angels (referred to as stars) chose to go with him. The rest of heaven’s Angels stayed with Jesus. Their mission: “Servant Leadership.” All day long, the Angels of heaven serve the purposes and directives of Almighty God. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, one of the lines He said was this, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” That means God’s will is carried out by heaven’s “Servant Leader Force” with no questions asked. How is it that heaven’s “Servant Leaders” lead with such loyalty and obedience? All day long they Praise and Worship Jesus. Praise and worship will help we earthly “Servant Leaders” do the same.
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I’ve been made aware once again this AM that “Heaven’s Angels” are Your personal “Servant Leaders.” They serve You without question based upon their Praise and Worship to You alone. It is my desire, oh Lord, to do the same today. Amen
