Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 138:7a
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life.
O-bservation:
King David knew what it meant to be in the dead center of trouble. Throughout his life story, David often could have sung that old Helen Reddy song to the Lord (if it had been written) … “You and me against the world!” David always knew where his safety had come from. He states for the entire world to read, “I know what it means to live in the middle of trouble and still be … ‘Heavenly Preserved.’”
A-pplication:
Think about the scores of times in your life when you were in the “DEEP” of Trouble and you escaped. Later, when you looked back, you saw that it had a supernatural component attached to it. You were “Heavenly Preserved.” And what about your current situation? The one that’s been keeping you up at night? I encourage you now to confess along with King David … “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life Dear Jesus!” If the Lord could preserve the Old Testament leader Gideon with just 300 men, trumpets, lanterns, and no swords against 135,000 enemy soldiers and give them a win (Judges 7:22), certainly Jesus can preserve you in the middle of your terror. I rarely do this, but this AM Devo is just for YOU! Walk with the assurance today that you are … “Heavenly Preserved!”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I will not back off from Your calling in my life today or any day. In the midst of insurmountable challenges, I know You are preserving my life! Amen

I’ve just come through an impossible situation. It turned out to be God’s method for bringing my life to another level. When David was hiding in the cave from Saul or crawling on all fours and faking insanity, he still believed his destiny was in God’s hands. Sometimes our dark moments are the materials that God uses to build our futures.
Thank you, Pastor Rich, for these word of encouragement . It is good to know that I am heavenly preserved!
