Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Revelation 19:6
Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.”
O-bservation:
As the Apostle John comes to the end of Jesus’ Revelation to him, he glimpses into heaven and HEARS a roaring thunderous sound. No matter how John tries to describe it, there seemed to be a constant, ongoing, never ending, continual, uproarious Praise to God going forth from all of heaven’s inhabitants. They simply said, “Hallelujah! For Our Lord God Almighty Reigns.”
A-pplication:
On this last day of the year, I regret to have to inform you that I’m not the guy who continually gives vocal PRAISE to our Almighty God. I have lots of excuses. First I have a family. Then I have a job. Oh, and sometimes I’m sleepy and other times I’m just hungry for food. I could go on and on, but you understand … I have my reasons. Maybe I left out the one about the fact that it’s embarrassing to shout with loud, thunderous words, “Hallelujah! For Our Lord God Almighty Reigns,” in the mall. However, there will come a day (and John saw a vision of that day) when men and women alike will have such unbridled PRAISE well up inside of them that it will emanate continually from their innermost soul. That will be the day when we all gather around the throne of God Almighty. Fear will be gone. Embarrassment will have been abolished. Shyness GONE. The need for anything other than continual PRAISE will have left. There will be a reminder of this one phrase from the Revelation, and suddenly we will shout it out together … “Hallelujah! For Our Lord God Almighty Reigns.”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
This AM I have a prayer request. Could you help me be more vocal in my praise to you Jesus? Sometimes people and my desire to please them gets in the way of You and Me! I’m done with that!! Amen

Thank you Rich,
What great reminder today to be more vocal about our praise for our Father our Savior. We have become a people not wanting to offend others and in the process I believe this is one reason the Church is not growing! I am challenged this year to be more vocal! Hallelujah!
