S-cripture:

Luke 5:11

So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.

O-bservation:

When Jesus had worked the miraculous catch of fish for Peter, James, and John, He told them to follow Him. That miracle changed everything, so when it came to fishing those men were “Done With That.”

A-pplication:

I remember as a young man the call of God came on my life, but I was somehow convinced that I still had options. Then the Lord worked a miraculous revelation in my life, and when that happened I pulled all of my options up on the shore, left everything, and followed Jesus. For every true “Follower of Jesus,” there should be a defining moment when they say to all other options in their life, “Done With That!” In other words, everyone has a mission that will fund their ultimate mission, which is to make Jesus bigger on their watch. Whatever you do for a living must not be what drives you. Jesus is our forever, everyday, ultimate goal. Maybe it’s time to pull that one last option up on the shore TODAY, leave everything, and say to Jesus, “Done With That!”

Dear Jesus,

I feel compelled this AM to pray for the one who is reading this. Help my friend today to say, “Done With That.” Amen
