You Can’t Hide GENEROSITY

S. O. A. P.

Here’s your 90 second AM devotional!

S-cripture:

1 Timothy 5:25

In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not obvious cannot remain hidden forever.

O-bservation:

As has been said here before, good deeds are seeds for the fruit of goodness to be revealed in bigger measure. You cannot hide goodness. According to the apostle Paul, you can try to hide it but it will not be hidden for long, and certainly not forever.

A-pplication:

Good deeds are an act of generosity. A good deed is something that is given by someone from his or her personal banks of time, talent, and treasure. Anyone can keep everything they have in their three banks, but the truth is when they do their world gets smaller and smaller. Conversely, the world of the generous gets larger and larger (paraphrase: Proverbs 11:24). So every good deed is taken from one’s personal bank and sown into someone else’s life and world. And when it is, something of a supernatural germination happens to that generous deed and good returns to the sower and nothing can change that fact! Because … try as you may … “You Can’t Hide GENEROSITY.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Thank You that Your good deeds while on earth have grown into “Billions of Followers” through over two thousand years of “Jesus” history. It’s just so obvious, “You Can’t Hide GENEROSITY!” Amen
