When You’ve Done Nothing Wrong, You Can Preach The Word With Authority!

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Acts 25:8
Then Paul made his defense: “I have done nothing wrong against the Jewish law or against the temple or against Caesar.”

O-bservation:

Paul was on his way to Jerusalem and didn’t know what awaited him there. But it’s for sure neither the Jewish or Roman rulers wanted him to go there. Along the way they stopped in Caesarea, and there Paul was able to witness and share the gospel with two Roman governors and King Herod Agrippa of that region.

A-pplication:

Paul’s ultimate goal was to get to Rome before he died and encourage the churches along the way there. He was firm when he said, “I’ve done nothing wrong against the Jewish law. I’ve done nothing wrong against the temple of our Jewish faith. And… I’ve said nothing against the Roman Caesar.” One of the reasons I believed God gave Paul all of his wishes was “When You’ve Done Nothing Wrong, You Can Preach The Word With Authority!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,
I ask you this am that you would lay your hand upon me and anoint me to preach in a way that people know I have nothing to hide! Thank you, Jesus – Amen
