What Choice Will It Be?

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Deuteronomy 11:26
See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse.
O-bservation:
These are the words of Moses, who was perhaps the greatest leader of all time. Twice he had been to the top of the mountain and received the Law of the Lord. After he had presented the law to the people the second time, he said, “I’m setting before you today a blessing and a curse. You will be blessed if you follow and obey the laws your God has given you, and you will be cursed if you walk away from these laws and follow other gods that you don’t even know. ‘What Choice Will It Be?’”
A-pplication:
Make no mistake about it. There has always been a choice for you and me. From the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve made their home, until today where you and I make our home, God has always given His human creation a choice. And nothing has changed from the beginning. Wait, let me qualify that, Jesus came and gave His life in order for us all to be given eternal life in heaven. But the same choice is there today as it was way back at the beginning. What choice will you make? If we choose to walk away from God’s Law and grace we suffer eternal separation from the Lord, but if we will choose to follow His precepts and embrace His offer of grace we have eternal life. I’ve made my decision. But the question remains today, “What Choice Will It Be?”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I’m so blessed to be given a choice in the matter as to how I will live my life. And I know based on that decision I will either be blessed or cursed. You have kept Your promise to me. I am a blessed man. Thank You! Amen
