Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

2 Corinthians 4:17

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

O-bservation:

Throughout this entire chapter St. Paul encourages us as “Followers Of Jesus” to press on. In this verse he says compared to the eternal reward all of us will one day attain, whatever trouble we’re facing on this side of heaven is “LIGHT.”

A-pplication:

Everything we do on earth for Jesus is a loving act of service after all He’s done for us. Oh yes, indeed there are what seem to be insurmountable troubles and challenges that we are faced with on a regular basis. Yet in comparison to what Jesus has waiting for us in heaven, NOTHING is too difficult for us to accomplish. The reason for this is because “We’re Serving For a Bigger Payoff.” Our Lord is waiting with great anticipation to greet us one day and say, “Well Done, Good And Faithful Servant!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Help me this AM to be more than just earthly minded. Help me remember that I’m serving in Your earthly kingdom for something even greater in Your eternal kingdom. Amen
