S-cripture:

Psalm 7:10
My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart.

O-bservation:

Here the great King David tells us that “The Sure Salvation Of God,” depends on yours and my willingness to live with an upright heart.

A-pplication:

All my life I’ve known folks who are always looking for a shortcut. They live with a passion to somehow cheat the system. But what’s the point of living if you’re always worried about getting caught? To me, and I’m far from a theologian by the way, but to me, that’s not living with an upright heart. The person who is concerned with uprightness is a person who always has a mentality that asks, “What Would Jesus Do?” When you and I live with that mentality we have entered, “The Sure Salvation Of God!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,
I’m asking this AM that you would help me to always live with an upright heart. I want to live in a way that makes YOU look good. Amen
