Show Me What You’ve Got

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

1 Corinthians 4:20

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.

Paul the Great Apostle defended his apostolic authority in this chapter. He made it very clear that many folks talk about the Christian walk, but others actually deliver with power and signs following.

You’ve heard it said before, “Talk Is Cheap!” Anyone can talk about what God can do, others go into action and actually deliver the goods in the power of God’s might. When that occurs, there’s a whole lotta questions that don’t have to be asked because people have witnessed with their own eyes the power of God. Paul was a man who had raised people from the dead, cast out demons in Jesus’ name, and seen miracle after miracle take place. When false preachers with silver-lined speech came calling, this Apostle would simply say … “Show Me What You’ve Got!”

Dear Jesus,

I only want to please You this AM. I’m not moving forward with a great speech, instead I’m moving forward serving a great and mighty God! Amen

Yes Pastor, “the proof is in the pudding”, as the old-school saying goes.
