Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Numbers 9:18a

At the Lord’s command the Israelites set out, and at his command they encamped.

O-bservation:

There was one way the Israelites knew to stay in a certain location or to move on from a certain location. This passage says they would know at the “Lord’s Command,” the answer to the question, “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?”

A-pplication:

For the Israelites, going and staying had to do with a specific sign the Lord would send to them. Whenever the cloud would hover over the Tent of Meeting, they were to stay. If the cloud lifted and moved, the people were supposed to pack up their camp and move on. What sign have you established to stay or go? For me there’s always been a continual stirring, then a door opens and I walk through that “Open Door.” If no door opens, I know The Lord is stirring me to seek Him and remain in His Word and stay in the place I’m at. The “Open Door” is my present location. Determining where your cloud is, is part of “Following Jesus.” The Word of God is His main means of speaking to you. Stay close to His Word and follow His commands. The more you do, the better you’ll be able to answer the question, “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?”

Dear Jesus,

I thank You this AM that Your Word is my Cloud. I want to follow Your commands, with Your help. Amen
