Here’s your 90 second AM devotional!

S-cripture:

John 10:42

And in that place many believed in Jesus.

O-bservation:

Remember, the gospel was initially given to the Jews. Jesus was a Jew. The first disciples were all Jewish. The Great Apostle Paul was most likely a member of the most powerful political ruling Jewish party known as “The Sanhedrin” when he became a “Follower of Jesus.” He stated in Romans 1:16 that the gospel was to the Jew first and also to the Gentiles. In this passage many Jewish people believed in Jesus, but just 3 verses earlier some Jewish people tried to kill Him. Jesus will always elicit a response. So, if in one Place they reject your message, just go to another Place.

A-pplication:

I often hear that one Place is more difficult than another Place to present the “Good News of Jesus.” That may be true, but don’t quit fishing. Just go to another Place. Maybe 2 miles from where you are people will be wide open to hearing “The Good News.” People told us … “Don’t go to Miami unless you speak Spanish.” We didn’t speak Spanish but went to Miami anyway. Thousands have come to Jesus. Just keep fishing. Wherever people are, there will always be a need for Jesus. I’ve had people say … “Oh that’s a Jewish area no one wants Jesus there.” Really? Christianity started with the Jews. Remember “The Good News of Jesus” works in all kinds of PLACES! But … you have to keep fishing.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I thank You that Your life and Your message and Your love works in all “PLACES” on earth. I ask you today to just help me keep fishing. Amen
