Here’s your 90 second AM devotional!

S-cripture:

Leviticus 22:9

“The priests are to perform my service in such a way that they do not become guilty and die for treating it with contempt. I am the Lord, who makes them holy.”

O-bservation:

In the clearest, most forthright way possible, The Almighty states that His ministers on earth are not to take their calling lightly. In that day, priests would face death from God for approaching the ministry in a haphazard way.

A-pplication:

Every “Follower of Jesus” has a Biblical right to look to their Spiritual Leaders for a model as to how to live for and serve the Lord. It was the Apostle Paul who said, “Follow me as I follow Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1). In other words, those who preach and teach the word of God must, by all means, “Practice what they preach!” The Gospel liberates people from sin’s chains, pains, and stains. It stands to reason then that Spiritual Leaders will come under unusual attack from the enemy on a regular basis. Those who would lead the people of God in a half-hearted way must think twice … people’s eternal souls are at stake. “It’s Not A Joke!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

You have said in Your word that I am to be holy because You are holy. I’m thankful this AM that You are the God who can also Make Me Holy. Please make me holy today! Amen
