Never Forget Your Heavenly Accountant

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Exodus 12:36
The Lord had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians.

O-bservation:

This verse finalizes the account of Israel’s last night in Egyptian bondage. The death angel of God had destroyed every first-born human and animal in Egypt, who did not not have the blood of a lamb painted on their doorpost. Egyptians were so distraught that they were obliged to give the Israeli’s what they asked for as they left. The Israeli’s asked for their silver and gold upon Gods command to Moses. The Egyptians quickly gave them all they had, so that scripture says they were “PLUNDERED,” by the Israelites.

A-pplication:

I don’t know who your accountant is but my accountant, ultimately is the Lord in heaven. He keeps the record straight. For 430 years the Israelis numbering 600,000 folks had been slaves of the Egyptians. In the end not by themselves, but by the hand of God the Egyptians were plundered, by the Israeli’s. Perhaps you feel as though you have sowed faithfully and yet your harvest has not been what you expected. But today I want to say, “Never Forget Your Heavenly Accountant.” It may take awhile but He will supply your every need.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,
I thank you this AM that you have always taken care of me through every season of my life. Even when I thought I somehow got shorted, you have come through over and over again! I’m so grateful. Amen
