S-cripture:

Romans 14:19

Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification

O-bservation:

This entire chapter gives us an understanding of what WEAK “Followers Of Jesus” and STRONG “Followers Of Jesus” look like, and how to understand each of them. Paul said we must all strive for PEACE and we must do everything to LIFT each other up EMOTIONALLY.

A-pplication:

There is no doubt that “Followers of Jesus” 2,000 years ago and “Followers of Jesus” right now this AM are often put down, lied to, slandered, and taken advantage of. It’s just what happens to people who have chosen to follow Jesus. Probably the most difficult thing for many Believers to accept is that many times the slander and the putdown’s come from other Believers. With this in mind, we are commanded to make PEACE our first priority. We are to be Peacemaker’s in every challenge we are presented with. Not only that, but Paul commands us to do whatever it takes for everyone at our table to be Edified, or “Lifted Up,” in the faith. The Bible way is to produce uplifting Peace all day every day. We’ve all failed slandered and criticized. It’s not something any of us are proud to have done, however Jesus people don’t need to look and operate like the world. No! “We Need Uplifting Peace!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I know that everything You do for me is to bring me to a place of “Uplifting Peace” in my life. You have WON in my life. I’m at Peace and I am lifted up! Amen
