Jesus Is Always Willing

S. O. A. P.

Here’s your 90 second AM devotional!

S-cripture:

Matthew 8:3

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.

O-bservation:

Jesus finished His “Sermon on The Mount,” and when He came down from the mountain a man with leprosy approached and knelt before Him. The man said, “Lord if You’re willing You can heal me of this leprosy.” Jesus replied, “I am willing,” and He touched the man and healed him.

A-pplication:

Quite often it’s the person who obeys, by asking the Lord for help, who receives a needed miracle. That’s right! Some people actually fail to ask Jesus because they don’t believe they are very important. Still others fail to ask because they think that their need is insignificant. Some fail to ask because of personal shame or pride. But here was a man with a killer disease whose only hope was Jesus. Jesus was not some well-known basketball star or entertainer who shooed autograph seekers away. No! Jesus was actually moved with compassion over people’s needs and infirmities. When the man said, “Lord if You’re willing You can heal me!” Jesus of course said … “I Am Willing!” And He healed the desperate man. What’s holding you back this AM from asking Him? He’s waiting, and we all know … “Jesus Is Always Willing.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I thank You this AM that You’re willing to not only hear my prayer, but to also answer me in my time of need. Amen
