Here’s your 90 second AM devotional!
S-cripture:
Esther 4:14
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your Royal position for such a time as this?
O-bservation:
Esther the Queen was a Jewish girl, though the King to whom she was married did not know this. The King’s wicked associate, Haman, hated Esther’s Uncle Mordecai, who was also a Jew. Haman was unaware that Esther and Mordecai were related. Haman devised and convinced the King to sign a wicked plan ordering genocide against the Jewish people. Uncle Mordecai sent word to Queen Esther and told her, You must act now! If you don’t you and your father’s household will be annihilated. God will save the Jews another way. But right now Esther, you are God’s plan … “It’s Your Time.”
A-pplication:
You may already know the end of the story. Esther did risk her life, the wicked Haman was killed, and the Jewish people were saved. Usually, when you hear “It’s Your Time” there’s great risk involved in saying … “Yes It Is My Time.” I’m not saying that it’s ever going to be a life or death situation, like it was for Esther, but I am saying it will cost you greatly. As a “Follower Of Jesus” risk is always “Faith’s Pathway.” Without being willing to risk, you will never enter onto the “Pathway of Faith” that will take you to your destiny. If there’s a big risk in front of you today, remember … “It’s Your Time.”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I only want to walk, run, drive, or fly on “Faith’s Pathway” today. I know there’s risk but I also believe … “It’s My Time.” Amen
