Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

2 Corinthians 1:19

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silas and Timothy—was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.”

O-bservation:

Paul the Apostle made it crystal clear in this passage that the Gospel of Jesus is a victorious gospel. It’s not “yes” today and “no” tomorrow, “It’s always been YES!”

A-pplication:

While it may be true that the books of the Old Testament aren’t necessarily in order as it relates to a timeline, it certainly promotes a straight line to Jesus. From the beginning, and even before the world was made, Jesus was destined to die for the souls of men and women. The Godhead has always said “YES” to that mission. Heaven also said “Yes” to the birthing of the Church on the Day Of Pentecost, and that through the Church God would write a love story featuring redemption and eternal life. These promises and actions in history up to now have never wavered; God’s promises do not change! For humankind, “It’s Always Been YES!”

Dear Jesus,

I can never thank You enough for Your willingness to say YES on my behalf. I will always be Your servant. Amen
