Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 56:3

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

O-bservation:

King David had one antidote for FEAR. He said, when praying to the Lord, “Whenever I feel afraid I put my trust in YOU!”

A-pplication:

I know this sounds like a trite and, for sure, simple fix. But let me assure you that it’s not trite and it’s not so simple. First, what David said is TRUE. When your trust is in the Lord, the fear leaves in an instant. Second, it’s not simple because Jesus paid a heavy price on the cross for our fear to be overcome. And … when you practice trusting Jesus more than listening too and believing all the bad news, in time, like I said earlier, Fear Flees. So don’t forget, Here’s What To Do When FEAR Comes Knocking: trust in JESUS!!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, for some reason, an assortment of different fears on many levels are knocking on my soul’s door! I want to Thank You that I haven’t answered one of those knocks and I won’t! Because I’ve got my TRUST fully set on You! Amen
