Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Revelation 7:9

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.

O-bservation:

John the Beloved’s vision happens in the first three and a half years of the 7-year tribulation period here on this planet, after the rapture of “The Church” has already taken place. Just before the 7 trumpet judgments are poured out upon the earth, John describes a picture of what is happening in heaven. He sees a vast multitude in heaven who have been sealed by God, forever protected by the Lord. When he sees them, John says the multitude was too numerous to count. They were at the throne of God, standing in white garments and waving palm branches. They were shouting praises to our great King.

A-pplication:

I can’t tell you where heaven is, but I CAN tell you that people will be there by the millions upon millions. What the Apostle John saw was a vivid picture of heaven. If John were sitting with you and me right now, he would look at us, and I do not doubt that he would say, “Heaven Is For Real!” This vision John had was somewhat like the Lord saying to him, and us, that we will face trials and tribulations on this earth, and of course, we know this to be true. Yet when he shows us this eternal picture of Saints already in heaven, my personal belief is that this vision of heaven totally rocked John the Beloved’s world so that sometime later, he wrote these words. “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus” (Rev. 22:20). John was completely convinced, “Heaven Is For Real!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m no John the Beloved, but I am Rich the Believer. And I can tell You, my Lord, that I too, just like John, believe “Heaven Is For Real!” Amen
