Dreams Do Come True

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 126:1

When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed.

O-bservation:

This passage is not unlike Psalm 137. Certainly the writer is speaking in a prophetic way, as if it had already happened. The truth is, in time, it did happen. Israel had been in captivity for 70 years to the Babylonians. The true “Followers of The Lord” had dreamed of going back to their homeland and rebuilding the Temple. The writer said, when it happened we weren’t sure if we were still dreaming. It was just so good!

A-pplication:

All of us have had dreams that never did come to pass. But the other side of the coin says … “Dreams Do Come True! Sometimes a dream can turn into a nightmare if the dream desired is not the will of God. Oftentimes people come to me and say, “Rich I don’t understand why God doesn’t answer my prayer. I have a dream but it just won’t come to pass?” My answer is usually the same. #1- If your dream isn’t the will of God, He’s protecting you from a “Nightmarish” reality. #2- If your dream is the will of God but it’s not coming to pass, it could be that the time is not right. Usually my daytime Nightmares happen when I’ve tried to force my will onto God’s will for me. If you believe you’re in the right then keep Praying and Believing because … “Dreams Do Come True!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM I thank You that You have given me a DREAM. I know that when the time is right You will make it a reality. I sure don’t want any more self-inflicted NIGHTMARES! Amen

    Amen,

    Pastor Rich,
I have dreamed dreams and some have come true where others I’m still waiting on the Will of God and his timing.
    Thanks for the Wisdom
