S-cripture:

Proverbs 9:10

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

O-bservation:

King Solomon, the wisest man to ever live, established a truth that has carried through the ages. If we will have a Holy respect for the Almighty, wisdom will follow us. The more we learn of the Lord, the more understanding we will have involving complex issues of life.

A-pplication:

I believe the “Fear of the Lord” has to do with knowing where the boundaries are. God is THE Holy … Almighty ONE. There are some things you just don’t venture into with the Lord. Instead you step back and RESPECT who He is. There are three keys to knowing the limits. Faith, Humbleness of Heart, and Boldness. Faith helps us pursue the Lord. Humility reminds us of how great He is. Boldness reflects our passion to be with Him and speak with Him. God is compelled by those three characteristics of His followers. But with all the Faith you can muster and all the Humility you can be clothed in and with all the Boldness possible, still … “Don’t Push The Edges.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m reminded this AM of how “BEYOND GREATNESS” you are. With Your help, I won’t push the edges of what’s acceptable today. Humbly, I bow once again at Your feet. Amen
