Decisions Decisions

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Exodus 28:15
Fashion a breastplate for making decisions – the work of skilled hands.

O-bservation:

In the directions God gave to Moses, he included what the priestly garments were to look like that his brother Aaron would wear. Here, God says, “Create a breastplate for “MAKING DECISIONS.”

A-pplication:

Godly leaders are always faced with “Decisions Decisions.” The truth is we teach that every believer is a leader. So, all of us are called to make decisions that will impact those we lead. In the Old Testament, the Chief Priest wore the breastplate for “making decisions,” signifying that his spiritual decisions were to guide them. However, in the New Testament, the Lord names the breastplate we wear as the Breastplate of Righteousness. In other words, when you leave the house today, make sure you have put on more than a name, but you have put on the action of RIGHTEOUSNESS in every decision you make.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,
This AM as I put on the breastplate of righteousness, help me remember that you will help me choose your way in every decision I make. Amen
