Revelation 22:7

“Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”

O-bservation:

These are the words of Jesus as the Bible closes in the last chapter of the last book. He tells us He is coming soon, and those who keep the words written in this prophecy of Revelation will be especially blessed. “When Jesus Speaks We Must Listen!”

A-pplication:

As the signs of the times escalate, it’s imperative that we keep our eyes on God’s Word and not on today’s news. This is the last day of the most challenging year for the world in my lifetime. To be honest, no one is quite sure how the present-day pandemic will be resolved as it continues to plague the world. Quite frankly, every day, it feels more and more like God is lining up to reveal His perfect will to the world. More and more people are beginning to see a God design in everything going on. As Jesus closed out the last chapter of the Bible, He told us to pay attention to the book of Revelation, and our lives will be blessed. That’s what I am doing! How about you? “When Jesus Speaks We Must Listen!” Happy New Year!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’ve got my eyes on You. I’m not looking to the left or the right. My eyes are straight ahead on you. I will pay attention to this book like never before! I expect to take a whole lot of people with me to heaven. I know you’re coming soon! Amen
