Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Numbers 3:13

“For all the firstborn are mine. When I struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, I set apart for myself every firstborn in Israel, whether human or animal. They are to be mine. I am the Lord.”

O-bservation:

Right here God lays down “The Law Of First.” He says that because He struck down all the firstborn of Egypt to get the Israelites out of Egypt, He now demands all the firstborn animals and humans of Israel.

A-pplication:

Certainly The Lord is not suggesting the firstborn humans are to be sacrificed through death on an altar. They are to be dedicated to the Lord wholeheartedly. I personally believe this also includes the first part of our treasure, our time, and our talents. If all of us would be faithful to give the first part of our resources in these three areas, I believe it would hasten the return of the Lord. God is always asking we His people, “Am I First In Your Life?” Our God is able to make something out of nothing, but the question is do you trust Him enough to follow through with “The Law Of First?”

Dear Jesus,

As I continue to age, I’m more and more aware of the fact that I must make a conscious effort putting YOU First in everything I say and do! Amen
