S-cripture:

Numbers 27:18

So the Lord said to Moses, “Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit of leadership, and lay your hand on him.”

O-bservation:

It was now time for Moses to go to heaven. The Lord spoke to him and said, “Take Joshua, son of Nun, because he has ‘The Spirit Of Leadership.’ Lay your hand on him to signal the people of Israel that he is My choice to succeed you as the leader of My people.”

A-pplication:

Life is about transition. Things are always in a “State of Change.” You can try to hold on to the moment, but you’d better have a smart phone to record it because it changes just like that. When it comes to handing over the reins of a nation, it is God’s intention to look for a person who has “The Spirit of Leadership.” Matthew Henry, the great Bible commentator, said, “In Joshua God found a man of COURAGE when he fought the Amalekites. He found a man of HUMILITY in the way that he served Moses for so many years. And, finally, God found a man of FAITH when he and Caleb were they only two of twelve spies who brought back a favorable report concerning the Promised Land.” The next time you find a young man or woman who exhibits COURAGE, HUMILITY, and FAITH, stay close to them. Why? They possess … “The Spirit of LEADERSHIP.”

Dear Jesus,

I’m always aware of young men and women who posses “The Spirit of LEADERSHIP.” This AM, I’m asking that as long as You give me life I will be a man filled with COURAGE, HUMILITY, and FAITH. This is my desire. Amen
