What Am I Full Of?

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Luke 6:45
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

O-bservation:

Here St. Luke tells us that whatever comes out of our mouths, in the form of words, is a result of what our heart is full of. If our heart is full of evil, then evil will be spoken out of our lips. If our heart is full of good, then good will come from our lips.

A-pplication:

It’s obvious that our heart is a reservoir for either good or bad things. Thoughts, meditations, motivations, and determinations are all stored in the heart of a man or woman. As I’ve often said, the “Heart” in scripture, is the place where our decisions are made. We only act upon what is lodged in our heart. So today the question you must ask yourself is simply, “What Am I Full Of?” Only you can make the decision on this matter if change is needed.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,
I pray this AM that you would help me to maintain a pure and grateful heart. That’s what I want to be full of. Amen
