Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 54:7
You have delivered me from all my troubles, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.
O-bservation:
King David thanked God for giving him a complete deliverance from all of the troubles he was facing. Then he said, “I’ve looked my enemies in the eyes and realized that I had won!”
A-pplication:
When I read this passage, I think of the old picture of Mohammed Ali standing over his vanquished foe who is laying knocked out on the ground, with Ali’s one hand motioning him to get up! It’s that look you give when the person on the other side knows you defeated them. But that’s not where I’m going with this thought. I want to talk about “The LOOK of Victory” you give when you know that without the Lord you wouldn’t have stood a chance. I’m pretty sure that was the look King David was talking about here. As “Followers Of Jesus,” we come to realize in time that we are able to see God’s hand in every victory we experience. Because of Jesus today, you and I can live with “The LOOK of Victory!”

Dear Jesus,
Thank You this AM for helping me overcome all of my troubles. Because of You, I see with “The LOOK of Victory!” Amen
