Keep On Keeping On

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Proverbs 3:3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

O-bservation:

The wisest man who ever lived, Solomon, encourages all of us to embrace the qualities of love and faithfulness. Wear them like a CHAIN around your neck. STAMP them, somehow, deep on your heart.

A-pplication:

The attributes of "Love and Faithfulness" have been, are, and always will be in high demand. When "Love and Faithfulness" are in full display, a family wins, a large corporation wins, a fighting unit wins, a team of athletes becomes champions, and a nation flourishes. However, when Envy and Disloyalty prevail it's only a matter of time before all of the GOOD comes crumbling down. There are no quick steps to success. Lottery winners are usually broke within 10 years of their Big Payday. Why is this even necessary to say? Because "Love and Faithfulness" are not proven in an instant. "Love and Faithfulness" are only realized fully towards the latter part of one's life. If ever the line "Keep On Keeping On" was appropriate, it would have to be in this instance. Because the crucible for "Love and Faithfulness" is to "Keep On Keeping on."

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus, On "Day One" You passed the test for ME! You have always Loved me and been Faithful to me, even when I don't deserve it! Help me be like You! Amen

A Promise of Hope

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Genesis 9:13 (NIV) I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

O-bservation:

After the flood, God established a covenant with Noah and all living creatures symbolized by the rainbow. This covenant represents God's promise of mercy, protection, and the preservation of life. The rainbow became a visible reminder of God's faithfulness and enduring love.

A-pplication:

As I encounter challenges and uncertainties, God's covenant with Noah reassures me of His steadfast love. The rainbow serves as a symbol of hope, reminding me that God keeps His promises. Today, I trust in the faithfulness of God's covenant, finding hope and reassurance in the midst of life's storms.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus, In times of uncertainty, help me to anchor my faith in the assurance of Your promises. Amen.

The Way Of Faithfulness

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 119:30 I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.

O-bservation:

King David let all of his people know that, before God, he had chosen, “The Way of Faithfulness.” It was his own decision to run toward the laws of the Almighty.

A-pplication:

When David penned these words, he was speaking as the monarch of Israel. Thankfully, during David’s reign he could be called a benevolent dictator, most of the time. Either way, he had complete rule as the King of Israel. So, when he said he had chosen “The Way of Faithfulness,” he was demanding that his people do the same. Here’s the question. Who in authority today is demanding the same from their constituencies? There are some practices that should be demanded rather than just suggested. We as people can only truly stand UNITED with each other, when we stand FAITHFUL to one another. There’s little time left, we must all choose “The Way of Faithfulness.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus, This AM my heart tells me that it’s a good speech, but it takes Your empowerment for any man or woman to choose “The Way of Faithfulness.” Empower me I ask. Amen

YET

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Revelation 3:8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

O-bservation:

John the Evangelist writes to the church at Philadelphia (in Asia Minor) while on the Isle of Patmos. He says, “You have little strength left, YET you kept God’s Word and have not denied the faith.

A-pplication:

Usually when we're pressed to our limits like the Church at Philadelphia had been, we're told of all our weaknesses and failures and what we should have done in the process. That's not the way our God approaches us. Yes, He may report to us concerning our failures, but then He always includes a "YET" somewhere in there! Thank God! Here Jesus says to the Church at Philadelphia, "YET," or in spite of all the strife you've been through, “YOU have kept my WORD and NOT denied the FAITH.” This short devo this AM is to you who feel you can't go another step. God knows all about it, "YET" He knows of your faithfulness and will see you through to victory!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus, I knew this AM that I would find my help and strength in Your promise, one more time. Amen

Can’t Stop Now!

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 117:1-2 Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

O-bservation:

King David told us to keep praising the Lord and promote His name. This command was meant for everyone who belongs to Jesus.

A-pplication:

Here are the reasons David gives for continuing to praise the Lord at all times. The King said that Jesus has amazing "Love" toward us all. He also said that the "Faithfulness" of the Lord lasts forever. Now in my limited opinion, love and faithfulness are in short supply in our beloved countries. However, God has a never ending supply of each. It causes us to wonder why there's such depression and lack of vision among so many. Perhaps many of us have been looking in the wrong places for love and faithfulness. If we've been called by a man after God’s own heart to continually praise and promote our blessed Savior, then that's what we must do. In fact. we just ... "Can't Stop Now!"

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus, I have failed you before, but as good as it is I give You my word, I Won't Stop Praising You! Amen
