Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

2 Samuel 22:47 The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be my God, the Rock, my Savior!

O-bservation:

At this writing King David is nearing the end of his life. As you read this verse, it appears as though David is more convinced of His God than he was at the beginning of his life. "I Feel The Same Way Today."

A-pplication:

As I read this passage this AM, I thought to myself that David wrote what he thought about the Lord nearly 3,000 years ago and "I Feel The Same Way Today!" God hasn't changed! He's still alive! He's still my God, my Rock, my Savior! Never a day goes by that I don't think, "Where would I be without the Lord?" Before I think a thought, say a word, act out a deed, it's always there: What does the Lord think about this? Is He pleased with me? AM I exalting Him today? AM I promoting Him today? You may be thinking, "Rich get real!" But ... He really is Alive. He really is my God, my Rock. and my Savior!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus, I know You're always there. You're always attentive to my cry! Thank You that after all these years You're still the One I can count on! Amen

Vision Will Keep You Alive!

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Genesis 45:28 And Israel said, “I'm convinced! My son Joseph is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”

O-bservation:

This is the beginning of the conclusion to one of the most amazing stories in history. A young man sold into slavery rose through the ranks of prison life to be second in command of all of Egypt. Not only did he win, but he also caused the nation to be saved. Jacob, his father, had thought that his boy Joseph had died many years before. Now Jacob said at a very old age, “My son Joseph is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”

A-pplication:

Here’s what I believe. “Vision Will Keep You Alive!” Theologians believe Jacob was 91 when Joseph was born. It was approximately 39 years from the time Joseph was born until his father Jacob met the Pharaoh of Egypt. What happened in the meantime was unimaginable! Probably at the age of 17, because of his brothers’ jealousy of him, Joseph was sold into slavery, and his brothers told their father a wild animal had killed their brother. Broken though he was, Jacob never gave up hope. One day his sons came back from their trip to Egypt and said, “Dad, our brother Joseph is alive, and he’s the second in command of all of Egypt!” Not only did vision cause him to see his son and meet the Pharaoh at the age of 130, but Jacob lived another 17 years!! Whatever you do, get VISION! Because “Vision Will Keep You Alive!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus, This AM, I’m so glad You have given me a fresh vision for my future. I believe that You will keep me going until I finish the VISION You’ve given me! Amen

How Do You See Yourself?

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Revelation 3:1 These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

O-bservation:

The Apostle John now gives revelation from the Lord to the Fifth of the Seven churches of Asia Minor. This church was located in Sardis. John said the church at Sardis had a reputation of being alive, but the Lord said through John, "I see you are Dead." The next verse says ... "It's time to wake up!"

A-pplication:

Most of us, if not all of us, have tried at one time or another to promote something about us As Truth ... when all along it wasn't True. This church perhaps had a great marketing campaign that reached across all of Asia Minor. It said ... "The Sardis Church is full of activity, excitement, and happiness. You have to be here and experience “Real Life." But Jesus looked beyond the glitz and the marketing to the Heart of the Church and it had ... "No Heartbeat." The way they saw themselves and the way Jesus saw them were Polar Opposites. "How Do You See Yourself?" What are you putting out there? What does the media department of your soul promote? Make sure the inside of you is fully alive in Jesus. Make sure you've got your heart right, your armor on, and the "Sword Of The Spirit" (God's Word) in your hand.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus, The passage this AM has caused me to examine my heart. I need to run far away from the show into a quiet place with YOU. I need to make sure my heart is still truly beating for YOU and for people! Amen
