S-cripture:

Romans 14:13

Therefore, let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

O-bservation:

This entire chapter, St Paul speaks to the believer who is strong and to the believer who is weak. In the middle of the chapter, he said, “When it comes to passing judgment on one another, ‘Stop It!”

A-pplication:

I think this is one of the biggest hindrances to the Gospel of Jesus Christ going forward. But I find everywhere I go, so-called Christians pointing fingers at other Christians. When I see this happening anywhere, I always think to myself, “The devil’s got them right where he wants them.” Instead of judging others, the Apostle made it clear that we need to keep the judging finger pointing toward ourselves. In other words, “I need to make sure I’m being the man of God he wants me to be by living out the loving message of Jesus to others.” That’s why when it comes to judging others, we should all just “Stop It!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

As I step back into the marketplace this AM, I ask that you would help me see others through the eyes of a man who has been forgiven. That way, I can be quick to forgive others. Amen
