S-cripture:

Psalm 103:12

As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

O-bservation:

King David gives an immeasurable distance when he says, “As far as the east is from the west, that’s how far God has removed our SINS from us.”

A-pplication:

I don’t know how the Lord could possibly make it any clearer than this verse. When I read it, the first thing I think of is … “My Sins Are GONE!” There is no way to measure how far the east is from the west because it’s an immeasurable distance, especially if you include the universe and not just the earth. The conclusion to this matter is stated in a question. “Why is it that so many Followers of Jesus want to linger on past sins and failures?” The only answer could be that they just can’t believe Jesus has really taken their sins away. Yet to believe that is to disbelieve God’s Word. Instead of surrendering to personal doubts today, just go with God’s Word and say, “My Sins Are GONE!”
