Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Luke 18:27

Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

O-bservation:

A rich young ruler had come to Jesus and asked Him what he had to do to be saved. Jesus answered him and the young man walked away. He was unwilling to give up what he had. Jesus then said. “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

A-pplication:

Oftentimes, the very thing we’re asked to do by the Lord that we loathe doing is the very thing that will bring us the greatest joy and fulfillment in time. The rich man respected Jesus, but probably looked on the disciples as a bunch of wannabes. The truth is they did want to be just like Jesus. That’s why they had given up all to follow Him. In time, the disciples became ICONS in the world. The rich young ruler, on the other hand, died nameless with all of his stuff now turned to dust. Jesus is all about “Making Possible From Impossibilities.”

Dear Jesus,

This AM I’m turning all of my impossibilities over to You AGAIN! Sorry, I keep forgetting. Amen
