Lord I’m Not Fooling!

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

Psalm 50:15

“And call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

When the Israelites were in a tough situation, the Lord commanded them to first give an OFFERING of THANKSGIVING (vs.14). Then they were to call on HIM, not the government, but on HIM the LORD and He said that He would DELIVER them and in return, His people were to HONOR Him.

As I write, my nation and the world are stuck at home, and in most cases, people are being commanded not to leave their living quarters due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus. Already this virus has killed thousands around the world, and it is highly contagious. At this time, there is no definite cure or vaccine. You may have noted the date near the top of this post this AM. That’s right; it’s the international date known as “April Fool’s Day.” But this is no laughing matter, and even if we do need some levity this is nothing to laugh about. Neither is it something to fool around concerning. The Lord, through King David, let the people know there would be days like this in the future. He said, “When these kinds of troubled times arrive upon you, bring to me an offering of thanksgiving, and I will rescue you, and you will Honor Me!” If you haven’t given an offering at your local church, then choose a faithful Christ-honoring ministry to bring an offering to and in humble need and adoration to the Lord simply say, “Lord, I’m Not Fooling! I need Your help and care over my life and family.” I believe today that God will answer your request, and you will, in turn, Honor Him.

Dear Jesus,

I’m grateful this AM that I can turn to You. I’m blessed to know that You have told me when I’m in trouble to bring an offering of THANKSGIVING and that you will deliver me and that I should honor You. I have, and I know You will! Amen
