1 Thessalonians 2:8b

Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.

O-bservation:

In writing to the people at Thessalonica, Paul said we loved you so much we gave you the whole gospel, but we also said … “Here, Take All Of Me!”

A-pplication:

The first important piece of news for all “Followers Of Jesus” is our chief mission is STILL to spread the Good News that Jesus loves everyone. After that, perhaps the best way to spread the Good News is to say to those around us … “Here, Take All Of Me!” I am your Servant Leader. I am your anchor in the midst of your storm. I will do whatever you need me to do for you to see the love of Jesus in and through me. It’s not enough to just preach the Good News, we must BE the Good News. “Here, Take All Of Me!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I am aware that the apostles were more than willing to spend and be spent for the sake of the Gospel. Help me to do the same! Amen
