S-cripture:

Psalm 102:18

Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord.

O-bservation:

King David proclaimed these words in hopes that this gospel would not die. It was his desire that generations from then until now would read his Psalms, and in turn “Praise The Lord!”

A-pplication:

Well … It happened! It’s been some 3,000 years since David penned this hope and prayer and here you and I are today writing about and reading his desire. In my life, I have been blessed to accomplish what I think have been many wonderful things for the Lord. Sometimes however, when I look back, it was more about me. Those days are gone! Like David, everything I’m endeavoring to do is to keep the Gospel going long past my years. It was David’s desire to set the next generations up to WIN. And he did. And we have! From this point on I’ll live like Jesus is coming in a minute, but plan so that generations 200 years from now will praise His name in case He doesn’t. DAVID … If You’re Listening, We’re Still Praising JESUS! THANK YOU!!
