Children of Promise

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

Galatians 4:28 (NIV)
Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise.

Paul compares believers to Isaac, emphasizing that they are children of promise just as he was. Isaac was born as a result of God’s promise to Abraham and Sarah, demonstrating the faithfulness of God to fulfill His word. Similarly, believers are recipients of God’s promises through faith in Jesus Christ.

I can trust in the promises of God and embrace my identity as a child of promise. It prompts me to anchor my faith in the reliability of God’s word and to live with confidence in His faithfulness to fulfill His promises in my life.

Dear Jesus,
May I anchor my faith in the reliability of your word and live with confidence in your ability to fulfill your promises in my life. Amen
