S-cripture:

Nehemiah 6:16

When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God.

O-bservation:

Nehemiah tells the story of how they finished rebuilding the walls surrounding Jerusalem in just 52 days. In so doing, they completely showed us “How To Annihilate The Defense Of Your Enemy.”

A-pplication:

There would have been NO earthly way such an accomplishment could have occurred unless Israel’s God, the Great Jehovah, had been with them. By depending on the fact that their God was with them, Nehemiah and his fellow Jewish team members annihilated their enemy’s defense. You and I are here at a different time in history, and not for long, I might add. What is it that worked for Nehemiah that will work for us to accomplish the same goal? I can tell you that if you and I will, with our whole hearts, cry unto our great God and depend on Him against all others, He will be our weapon against every foe we encounter. In the end, He will annihilate the defense of our enemies and give us the victory.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, I’m calling, and I’m crying out to You, oh Lord. Please come to my defense. I’m asking that You annihilate my enemies’ defense and give me the victory worthy of one of Your children. Amen
