Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Acts 9:15
But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.”
O-bservation:
The Lord spoke to Ananias, a man of God living in Damascus, telling him to “GO” to Saul and tell him the “Good News” that Jesus is Lord.
A-pplication:
Saul was perhaps the youngest member of the Jewish Pharisaical ruling body. He was the up and coming Jewish lawyer of his day. He was a ruthless persecutor of Christians. But God had a plan for Saul. Instead of calling out a well-known religious leader of his day, the Lord instead chose a man of God named Ananias to “Go” to Saul. The Lord said, “I have a great work for him to accomplish.” Ananias responded to God’s “GO” and “WENT.” The rest is history. Saul became Paul and wrote much of the New Testament. God is not looking for great leaders, He’s looking for obedient servants who will “GO.” Because, “God’s Word Is Still GO!”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
All I’m asking when I’m gone is that people will say, “He WENT when God said GO.” Amen
