You Can Go First, After Me
Way before King David had ever dreamed about building a house for God, he built a house for himself FIRST. When you read the whole story, God himself was not really wanting a house. In fact, he told David he’d been living in a tent while he brought the people out of Israel and was good with that. Yet to me, the idea that we think of ourselves FIRST is always troubling.
