The Proper Introduction

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

Matthew 10:32 Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.

Jesus told His disciples that in order for Him to introduce us to His father in heaven, He would have to FIRST be introduced by us to those here on earth who have never met Him. And the next verse says this also works conversely.

Whenever I am in a room speaking to a large group, or even in a small circle of conversation, I immediately introduce individuals who have had an impact on my life to the room or the circle. People who have really touched your life in a significant way always need ... "The Proper Introduction." HONOR demands an initial introduction. That's the proper thing to do. That brings us to the center of this discussion ... JESUS. He is the One who cared for, loved when few did, and sacrificed His very life for our way out of the dungeon of eternal death. Consequently, in any and every conversation, not in a condescending self-righteous way or a timid, "I have to do this sort of way," His name must come up! In a Confident, Thankful, Humble, and most of all "Loving Way," Jesus demands "The Proper Introduction" to any and all of our friends. And one day, when we stand before the Father, Jesus will step forward and acknowledge US with ... "The Proper Introduction."

Dear Jesus, Again this AM, I paused to say thank You for everything. Now I will head into my marketplace to acknowledge You today. And every day! Amen
